BEST OF BOSTON
Boston Home Magazine named ZeroEnergy Design the “Best Green Architect” in the Best of Boston Home 2011 issue. The award is one of New England’s most recognized professional accolades and is produced by the publishers of Boston Magazine with input from construction industry experts.

2011 ECOHOME DESIGN AWARDS
The Concord Green Home, a modern farmhouse by ZeroEnergy Design, won a 'Merit Award' for the 2011 EcoHome Design Awards hosted by EcoHome magazine. Aligned with the magazine's philosophy, the national award ceremony showcases the "best integration of design and performance" from across the country. The award follows on the heals of ZED's 2010 receipt of an EcoHome 'Grand Award'.

2011 PERSPECTIVE IN DESIGN AWARDS
Best New Construction of 2011 went to ZeroEnergy Design at the Perspective in Design Awards for the English Residence, a modern LEED Gold certified home located in Orleans, Massachusetts. The Perspective in Design Awards were established to recognize "the exceptional creativity and talent of New England's residential design professionals."

2011 AIA EMERGING PROFESSIONALS
The 2011 AIA Emerging Professionals Exhibit Team selected and displayed ZED's Truro Residence at the AIA National Office for a period of six weeks, including during the annual leadership conference. The exhibition displayed a range of exceptional projects, from conceptual to built works. |

2011 PRISM AWARDS
The PRISM Award Committee honored ZED with three awards for the English Residence. The awards received included Silver for Best Single Family Home under 2500SF, and two Gold awards for Most Innovative Green Design in the Open and Single Family Home categories. Hosted only every two years by the Builders Association of Greater Boston, the PRISM Awards seek excellence in building, design, and other categories. Press Release |

USGBC NATURAL TALENT DESIGN COMPETITION
A small, green, affordable house by ZeroEnergy Design and FreeGreen will be built to LEED Platinum standards in the New Orleans Broadmoor neighborhood after the design was selected as a finalist in the U.S. Green Building Council's 2010 Natural Talent Design Competition.

BOSTON SOCIETY OF ARCHITECTS CITATION FOR SUSTAINABILITY
The BSA Small Firms/Small Projects Design Awards Program is co-sponsored by the BSA Small Firms Committee, the BSA Residential Design Committee and the Congress of Residential Architects, the sole judging criterion of this award program is design excellence. Structures or buildings of all project types built anywhere in the world by design firms located in Massachusetts may be submitted.
