ZED’s Jordan Goldman was announced as a winner of Professional Builder magazine’s 40 Under 40 Awards, which distinguish the hottest emerging talent in home design and construction nationwide. Eligible residential professionals across the nation competed for the honor.

Under the SAVE (Sensible Accounting to Value Energy) Act, estimated energy-consumption expenses for a house would be included as a mandatory new underwriting factor.

Benefits include:

  • Consistent accounting for energy efficiency in appraisals, enabling builders and homeowners to invest in energy-saving features
  • Acceleration of the supply and demand for energy-efficient new homes
