You'll need to complete a few basics steps, and then we can design your home:
Step #1 - Acquire Land. Your land will dictate many aspects of the design so it is essential that you own or have your land in escrow before beginning the design process. |
Step #2 - Select Your Budget Choose a construction budget that fits your individual circumstances. You can change it later, but it's important to use a target number to guide design decisions. Custom design is practical for homes with construction budget of at least $400,000 not including land. |
Step #3 - Gather Documentation Details are important during the design process. Examples: Gather homeowner's association rules, deed restrictions, a survey of your land in digital format, photos of the land and views, photos of other homes in the area, and other pertinent documentation. |
Step #4 - Collect Your Thoughts During the initial meetings, we will be asking about your priorities and desires for your home. Knowing your likes/dislikes will help us design for you. Examples: images from magazines, sketched floor plan ideas, photos from a kitchen you liked, internet links, technologies you'd like to consider, etc. |
