The Modern Industrial was designed around a challenging constraint: create a modern home with a small square footage and at an affordable cost. To meet the cost constraint with modern aesthetic, the home relies on relatively inexpensive industrial materials and finishes implemented in novel ways to create typical features out of atypically applied components. For example, shelving units consist of rigid stainless steel conduit piping laid in parallel. Identical bends in each give the shelving a unique shape & aesthetic.
