The goal for the project was to design a site-appropriate, rustic, family-oriented residence for the client's 6-acre parcel near Boise. The client desired matching bedrooms and bathrooms for their twin daughters. For the two family dogs, the client wanted a floor that would be durable against the wear and tear their pets would impose. It will be designed with the maximum practical amount of energy efficiency, water conservation, healthy materials, and renewable energy sources incorporated into the residence.
