Three ZED Voices, Three Panels
Mostly we like to design, but once in a while we get out there and talk! Our staff had a busy October in that regard, participating in three thought-provoking panels from three ZED thought leaders: (1) Jordan Goldman spoke at NESEA's BuildingEnergy NYC Refrigerant Phaseout panel, (2) Noah Fitch at Boston Design Center's Maker's + Masters 'Sustainable Style' Panel and (3) Stephanie Horowitz at Building Green 2025 hosted by BRAGB and Top Notch Contracting.
Boston Design Center’s Sustainable Style: Crafting High-End Design with Purpose
ZED’s Noah Fitch joined Monty Stauffer of Kohler WasteLAB, and Cara Fineman of DAG Design - with Marni Elyse Katz moderating - as they explored how beauty and responsibility intersect in today’s design world.
BuildingEnergy NYC
ZED's Jordan Goldman and architects Paul Castrucci and Graci Mills talked about how NYC's phase-out of R-410A refrigerant forced them to consider alternatives to centralized VRF systems during a recent residential project, 'The Beacon,' in East Harlem.
Building Green: High-Performance Panel Discussion
Hosted by Top Notch Contracting and BRAGB, ZED’s Stephanie Horowitz joined Nick Schiffer - NS Builders, David Fenchel - Traverse Architecture, and Bijan Khosraviani - A-9 Green for a panel about all things high-performance in the built environment.
