Uses. After undergoing a deep energy retrofit, the 7500SF building offers individualized and group music instruction, a state-of-the-art sound and recording studio, adult education classes, ESL training, and a wellness series.
Historic Requirements with Performance. Formerly a seasonal inn, the building has been improved with a super insulated envelope, a ground source heat pump for heating and cooling, efficient mechanical ventilation for fresh air, and rebuilt original windows, all while adhering to historical requirements.
Certification. The institutional building is LEED Gold certified by the US Green Building Council.
